Light-welded all-round hard welding electrode specially made for use with transformers with low open-circuit voltage (OCV>45V), but can also be welded with DC plus pole. The electrode is suitable for hard welding of worn agricultural implements, forestry and loading machines and produces a durable weld metal with a hardness between 54-60 HRC. It is extremely easy to weld, leaving an even and smooth strand surface.

Hard welding electrode that provides a chrome-alloyed weld metal for welding on, for example, wheel tracks, axles, rollers, rails, track crossings, coupling parts, gears in steel castings and wheel tracks and wheels for cranes and traverses. Butt welding of hardenable steels is another type of application.

Nickel alloy high yield austenitic manganese steel electrode which produces a tough crack resistant weld metal which work hardens under pressure load. The electrode is primarily intended for welding on worn parts in 12 - 14% manganese steel, which are exposed to hard pressure and moderate abrasive wear. Typical applications are crusher plates and rollers, excavator buckets, cones and mantles for rotary crushers, buckets for dredges, rail crossings and so on. OK 86.28 produces tougher and crack-resistant welds than non-nickel-alloyed electrodes of the same alloy type. Maximum hardness during strong cold working can amount to approx. 40 HRC. The intermediate string temperature should be kept as low as possible.
