Elektrod ESAB OK 94.25 Typ Basisk
A tin bronze electrode for welding copper and copper alloys, preferably tin bronze. The electrode is also suitable for welding on corrosion-resistant surface layer on steel. The electrode is also very useful for minor welding repairs of cast iron. When welding copper alloys, the workpiece must be preheated to approx. 300°C to facilitate melting of the joint surfaces, larger workpieces also require a continuous supply of heat. The electrode should be held perpendicular to the workpiece and welded without oscillation with a short arc.
