Magna BD 68 is a highly efficient, non-emulsifying slideway lubricant based on solvent refined mineral oil. Magna BD 68 has very good demulsifying properties in machines and operations where water-miscible cutting fluids are used. The oil does not emulsify and is therefore easy to separate from the cutting fluid. It is resistant to washing off and provides excellent protection against corrosion and oxidation as well as swelling of plastic coatings. High quality guide oil recommended for horizontal guides on small to medium sized machine tools. They are also suitable for circulation applications in large machines and as hydraulic oil in moderately loaded systems.
